Second Chance Job Fairs

Second Chance Tucson job fairs provide an opportunity for employers to recruit qualified, motivated employees with a support
system working with them to ensure success. All of the employers in attendance are open to hiring people
with a prior conviction.

To help prepare the job seekers in advance of the job fair, Second Chance creates folders full of job search
techniques and information and distributes these to job seekers through orientation sessions coordinated by
county and federal probation officers. The folders include a calendar of employability skills workshops in the
community, covering topics such as resume writing and interview skills. In addition, vouchers for interview
clothes and haircuts are provided.
