Below is a list of organizations who are currently providing training and workshops related to employment, job readiness, and skill development. Be sure to contact the organization via telephone to inquire about current offerings and schedule.

Workshop Wednesdays are hosted weekly from 9am-11am at the locations listed below. It is required to call and RSVP prior to attendance. If you are unable to attend Wednesdays, you can call the location nearest you and schedule another time.

The Goodwill Youth Centers serves youth and young adults ages 12-24 years seeking employment and education in the community. We assist them with their goals, connect them to resources, provide career pathways, and give a sense of purpose for the future. One on One assistance is available as requested.

The Pima County library has free assistance with writing a resume or cover letter, creating an email account, searching online for jobs, completing online job applications, preparing for an interview.
Free classes are available covering topics such as interview skills, resume writing, job fair preparation, internet job search, and job searching basics. Call one of the locations below for appointment and scheduling.

Civil Rights Restoration
*You are eligible to restore your rights in Arizona if you meet the following criteria:
You have Arizona or Federal Convictions.*
You have waited at least two (2) years after being released from prison.
You have fulfilled the conditions of your probation or sentence, including any period of parole/community supervision. (This waiting period applies only to civil rights restoration; applying to vacate a conviction has no additional waiting period.)
You have proof showing you have tried to pay fines and restitution.
*If your convictions are from out-of-state, please contact the Superior Court in the county of your conviction to find out how the rights restoration process works in that state.
Weekly Public Defense Legal Clinics Pima County Public Defense Services holds a free, virtual or telephonic legal clinic for those with Arizona convictions every Wednesday. The clinic provides services and information about: civil rights restoration misdemeanor designation of felony convictions quashing warrants referrals to lower courts community services constitutional rights To schedule an appointment, please call 520-724-2285. The clinic is free and open to the public. Individuals must schedule an appointment by calling their legal clinic number. The clinic is held virtually and in person every Wednesday from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m. You can attend your appointment by computer using any web browser or smart phone, or you can call in. In-person appointments are held at 33 N. Stone Ave., 21st floor. Upon arrival please see front desk.
